According to experts; WHO allergic rhinitis (AR) affects 10-20% of the population; and its symptoms in epidemiological studies are detected even more often: they are noted by up to 40% of respondents. Currently, there is a further increase in allergic diseases in children; among which AR prevails. According to a number of epidemiological studies conducted in various regions of the world, the prevalence of AR in the pediatric population reaches 22%.
