Annotatsiya

The psychoemotional comorbidities associated with epilepsy significantly impact patients' quality of life and seizure control. Common comorbidities include depression, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders, which are prevalent among individuals with epilepsy compared to the general population. Understanding these comorbidities is crucial for effective diagnosis and management of epilepsy. Accurate diagnosis of epilepsy requires a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach, as misdiagnosis remains common and has significant clinical consequences.
