This article explores the development of a methodology for analyzing and assessing the effectiveness ofinitiatives aimed at reducing energy consumption in fuel oil systems at thermal power plants. Given the complexity ofoperations within these systems, it is crucial to employ an integral method to evaluate current technological processes, aswell as potential improvements or modifcations. This issue becomes even more relevant in the context of energy sectormodernization and the ongoing search for investments to fnance infrastructure upgrades. Therefore, the article highlightsthe necessity of establishing a methodology for calculating and assessing the efciency of measures implemented toreduce energy consumption in fuel oil systems at thermal power plants.
