Objective: To identify atypical clinical forms of optic neuritis developing after acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) at an early stage, to establish accurate differential diagnosis, and to scientifically evaluate opportunities for preserving visual function and preventing complications through effective treatment and preventive measures.Methods: Analysis of historical and modern scientific literature, clinical observation of patients diagnosed with optic neuritis after ARVI, ophthalmological examinations (ophthalmoscopy, OCT, MRI) and visual evoked potential (VEP) analysis. Additionally, statistical analysis was conducted on data obtained by introducing differential diagnostic methods and individualized treatment-rehabilitation recommendations into healthcare practice.Results: The study demonstrated the crucial importance of early diagnosis in atypical forms of post-ARVI optic neuritis. Modern instrumental diagnostic methods and an accurate differential approach help prevent disease complications. Furthermore, comprehensive preventive measures contribute to maintaining visual function and improving patients’ quality of life.Conclusion: Early detection of atypical forms of optic neuritis and implementation of targeted differential diagnosis and preventive measures in post-ARVI conditions reduce the risk of vision loss. These measures not only require an individualized approach for patients but also strengthen collaboration between practicing physicians, local healthcare institutions, and the community. Thus, broad preventive programs are essential for improving population health, reducing the incidence of vision disorders, and preventing long-term complications.
