Мазкур мақолада Сирожиддин Саййид ижодининг ўзига хос жиҳатлари ва унинг адабий жараёндаги ўрни таҳлил қилинади. Шоирнинг шеърияти ўтган асрнинг 70-йилларидан бошлаб ўз йўналиши ва услубига эга бўлиб, миллий ва жаҳон адабиётлари ўртасидаги мулоқот кўпригини шакллантиришга катта эътибор қаратади. С.Саййид ижодида кўприк образи марказий ўрин тутиб, у адабий анъаналар ва замонавий тенденсияларни бирлаштириш учун ишлатилади. Ушбу образ орқали шоир нафақат ўзининг шеърий услубини, балки адабиётнинг тарихий ва маданий алоқаларини ҳам акс эттиради. Шоир интертекстуал элементлар ёрдамида миллий адабиётни жаҳон миқёсида янги талқинлар билан бойитади.
