This article examines nematodes of the families Strongyloididae, Strongylidae, Trichonematidae, Oxyuridae and Ascarididae and their causative agents, which parasitize the gastrointestinal tract of horses in various biocenoses of the Samarkand region. Diseases caused by the agents Strongyloides westeri, Strongylus equinus, Alfortia edentates, Delofandia vulgaris, Oxyuris equi and Parascaris equorum are such diseases as strongyloidosis, strongylosis, trichonematosis, alfortiosis, delafondiosis and oxyurosis. Data on the extensiveness and the intensity of the invasion are also given.
