The study involved 63 patients who had undergone sinus lifting surgery. The effectiveness of the bone-forming materials Kolapol KP-3 and Ovis used in sinus lifting was assessed. Radiological monitoring was carried out and bone density was determined. It was recorded that in the main group in which Ovis was used the effectiveness of the operation over 2 years amounted to 98.4 %. The use of bone-forming materials in sinus lifting surgery is considered an alternative method to the placement of zygomatic implants.
