This article studies the linguocultural features of phraseological units taken from different languages in a comparative aspect. In particular, it describes the national distinctiveness of the phrasemes of the Uzbek language, which directly reflect the social, economic, cultural and everyday life of the Uzbek people, the expression of the character and qualities inherent in the Uzbek people, and their reflection in literary and artistic language.
