The article analyses the possibility and effective use of a hybrid power plant and the selection of the most effective backup unit for the operation of a low-power hybrid energy supply system. The most effective backup source for a low-power hybrid energy supply system has been determined. With their help it is possible to provide electricity to the population of the remote and mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan.
