Annotatsiya

This article scientifically analyzes the neuroprotective properties of the anesthetics propofol and sevoflurane, their effect on brain activity, especially cognitive processes. Cognitive dysfunction is a syndrome that occurs duringanesthesia and postoperative periods, characterized by impaired memory, attention, and cognitive function. The articlehighlights the role of these two drugs in protecting neuronal metabolism, reducing oxidative stress, and controllinginflammatory mediators. The results of the study show that propofol and sevoflurane, when used in combination or asmonotherapy, help protect brain tissue from hypoxic damage
