This study investigates how variations in the transported load affect the operational characteristics of conveyor drive systems. The analysis reveals that when the motor speed is not adjusted according to the actual load, unnecessary energy losses, increased mechanical stresses, and transport instability occur. Practical evaluations demonstrate that applying linear speed control based on the load value significantly reduces energy consumption, mitigates overheating, and improves the reliability of the conveyor system. The findings confirm that adaptive speed control is an effective approach for enhancing the energy efficiency of conveyor transport.
