This article theoretically studies the functions of the executive branch, the main activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and argues the need to reflect in law the basics of legal policy as one of its important areas. The article also analyzes the views and legislation of foreign scholars and experts in this area, and offers suggestions and recommendations for further improvement of national legislation, which should be included in its text.
