Annotatsiya

This article examines the structural and functional characteristics of ecological lexical units used in English and Uzbek newspaper discourse. The study analyzes environmental vocabulary occurring in selected English newspapers such as The Guardian, The Times, and The New York Times, and Uzbek newspapers including Xalq So’zi and Yangi O‘zbekiston. The research applies comparative, descriptive, and discourse-analytical methods to identify lexical structures, semantic categories, and communicative functions of ecological terminology.
