This study examines the phenomenon of implicit meaning transfer in artistic discourse, focusing on the linguistic, pragmatic, cognitive, and cultural mechanisms that enable authors to convey meanings beyond literal expression. The research analyzes how artistic texts employ devices such as metaphor, symbolism, irony, subtext, and intertextuality to construct multilayered interpretations. Drawing upon theories from pragmatics (implicature and relevance theory), semiotics, cognitive linguistics (conceptual metaphor and blending), and discourse analysis, the paper explores the interpretative role of the reader in decoding hidden meanings. The findings demonstrate that implicit meaning transfer is a defining characteristic of artistic discourse, contributing to its aesthetic depth, emotional impact, and interpretative openness. The study highlights the interdisciplinary nature of meaning construction and emphasizes the importance of inferential processes in understanding literary and artistic texts.
