In 280 cases of surgical treatment of tumors of the spinal cord were analyzed. In the studied material of patients with extramedullary tumors of the spinal cord, there were 220 (78.5%) observations and 60 patients (21.5%) had intramedullary ones. The work is based on the analysis of the results of 280 surgical treatment in the Department of pathology of the spine and spinal cord of the RSSPMCN in patients with spinal cord tumors for the period from 2014 to 2021. Of these: with extramedullary formations of the spinal cord in 220 (78.5%) cases and in 60 patients (21.5%) with intramedullary tumors of the spinal cord. Male patients 172 (61.4%) cases and 108 (38.6%) women. All patients underwent a full range of diagnostic procedures to determine the optimal type of surgical intervention. The choice of tactics for surgical treatment of spinal cord tumors depends on the anatomical localization of the formation. The proposed methods of surgical treatment of spinal cord tumors have shown their effectiveness.
