Annotatsiya

This study presents an expanded scientific analysis of the flora associated with linear infrastructures in the Nuratau botanical-geographical region of Uzbekistan. The investigation focuses on floristic composition, biodiversity structure, ecological adaptations, taxonomic diversity, anthropogenic transformation, and conservation significance of vegetation distributed along roads, railways, gas pipelines, and utility corridors. The research identified 1082 plant species belonging to 83 families and 431 genera. Angiosperms dominate the flora and represent more than 98% of the total species composition. Major plant families such as Asteraceae, Poaceae, Fabaceae, Brassicaceae, and Lamiaceae play a central role in vegetation formation. The study demonstrates that linear infrastructures simultaneously function as ecological corridors and anthropogenic disturbance factors. These habitats facilitate migration of native and adventive plant species, influence seed dispersal processes, and create new ecological niches in arid and semi-arid landscapes. The article also discusses ecological resilience, adaptive strategies of xerophytic vegetation, and the role of infrastructure in landscape fragmentation. The findings emphasize the importance of sustainable environmental management and biodiversity conservation in technogenic ecosystems of Central Asia.
