The article presents the results of exposure to cytamegalovirus infection and premature newborns are most susceptible to the damaging effect of infection on the brain due to morphofunctional immaturity.. The clinical course and diversity of neurological symptoms are reflected.. The features of the clinical course are clarified using instrumental, laboratory research methods.
