Annotatsiya

The article examines the artistic expression directions of the Novruz ritual complex in the literature of Azərbaycan from a philological and semiotic perspective. The theme of Novruz is considered one of the most ancient and continuous motifs in Azerbaijani literary thought, evolving from folklore traditions to classical and modern literature without interruption.The study demonstrates that Novruz is not merely a seasonal celebration but a multilayered cultural phenomenon that synthesizes mythological, religious, philosophical, and aesthetic systems of thought. In medieval Azerbaijani poetry, Novruz motifs are expressed through multiple semantic codes, simultaneously combining artistic, metaphorical, mystical, and philosophical meanings within a single textual structure. This reflects the polysemantic nature of classical poetry and its complex symbolic organization.
