This study examines the axiological aspects of faith, hope and devotional qualities from selected novels of Khaled Hosseini with special focus on this matter applied in the context of narrative and culture context. Using a technique of axiological and interpretive reading, this article examines ethical functions of these concepts in their dynamic positions as value systems formed by social conditions and not as absolute religious or emotional states. Faith is discussed as a moral framework for supporting dignity under oppression; hope as an ethical framework for accountability and moral renewal; and devotion as a value that is based on sacrifice and responsibility. The analysis further takes into consideration Hosseini's attitude in translating culturally specific moral concepts in English and maintaining the depth and integrity of ethics and culture. By investing the values in experience of life and empathy of narrative, Hosseini's fiction helps to make the culturally positioned values reach global intelligibility. The results show that Hosseini's novels present universal issues of ethics and ethics which have cultural specificity that dealt with the larger questions of values seen in contemporary world literature.
