В статье рассматриваются инновационные аспекты развития системы образования в сфере предоставления образовательных услуг, социально-экономические отношения, возникающие в процессе её развития и оценки. Исследованы практические рекомендации и предложения по научно-методическим основам выяснения факторов повышения конкурентоспособности организаций высшего образования на рынке образовательных услуг, совершенствования методологии оценки их конкурентоспособности, усиления интеграции образования, науки и производства, повышения качества образовательных услуг.
