Gender in the communicative process

Annotatsiya

This article examines the linguistic and sociocultural characteristics of gender in the communicative process. The study analyzes phonetic, lexical, stylistic, and pragmatic features of women’s and men’s speech within the framework of discourse analysis. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between communicative behavior and social roles, stereotypes, and cultural factors. The paper argues that differences in gender communication should be interpreted primarily through social and cultural contexts rather than biological determinism.
