The article describes the investment and innovation activities of the oil and gas industry, which is considered one of the important industries for the country's economy, its problems, news, investment development trends, as well as the work carried out in this area. In particular, an analysis was made of the process of increasing the economic potential of the oil and gas network and the efficiency of resource use in the country's economy.
