This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the effective use of budgetary funds, the implementation of financial control in the education system in the digital economy. With the formation of financial mechanisms in the education system based on targeted spending of funds, changes in the field of digitalization in the process of implementing educational services, the specifics of monitoring the effective use of budgetary funds were studied and practical recommendations were proposed.
