Purpose of this study was to investigate the morphological and functional features of the nasal mucosa in various forms of chronic polypoid rhinosinusitis. We investigated the functional and morphological characteristics of the nasal mucosa in 150 patients with chronic polypoid rhinosinusitis. The study showed that in patients with chronic polypoid rhinosinusitis in the mucosa of the nasal cavity disrupted transport function, altered pH. extended absorptive function, secretory activity increased due to increased secretory function, as well as on the morphology' of nasal polyps are separated by infiltration "eosinophilic" and "neutrophils" polyps.
