This article presents the methods of studying the quality of life of 408 patients with trigeminal neuralgia who are subject to surgical treatment by microvascular decompression of the nerve root with retro-sigmoid access. The quality of life of these patients was assessed in the pre-, postoperative and follow-up periods using the MOS SF-36 questionnaires, the EuroQol-5D European Quality of Life Questionnaire, the McGill Pain Questionnaire, as well as questionnaires for assessing the quality of life and the assessment of pain in NTN own development.
