It is established the capacity of Shelkolin, the product of disintegration of silkworm pupae fixed into ointment base, to improve the barrier function of the oral mucosa due to the correction of local immunity. Cumulative assessment of regression of clinical symptoms and the dynamics of indicators of nonspecific resistance of the oral cavity allowed setting a higher therapeutic efficacy of Shelkolin compared to solkoseril dental adhesive paste in the treatment of lichen planus canker sores and ulcer.
