Goal of research: Assessment of the reaction of the regional periodontium to fillings made of composite material and prevention of their negative impact. Materials and methods: Under observation.there were 40 patients of both sexes and 30-45 years of ageiin total. 105 restorations were restored that restore carious cavities of various localization, including before applying sealant-65restoration. after applying sealant-40. Depending on the periodontal condition all patients were divided into groups as follows: Igroup. Intact periodontium (20 people). II group. Chronic generalized periodontitis of mild degree (20 people). Results: We studied the effectiveness of the use of sealant on composite fillings in patients with mild chronic generalized periodontitis. The effectiveness of the use of sealant was studied on the basis of the gingival index and periodontal index. Using this technique prevented the local irritating effect of the filling mass on the marginal periodontium.
