Today, many scientists are actively discussing G. Selye’s hypothesis about the effect of stress on the body, including the occurrence of dental caries. The chemical composition of the body is individual, it can change under the influence of various factors, including stress. As a result of the studies, it was found that the ratio of trace elements of variable valency in the hard tissues of the tooth and brain is different. An excess of trace elements in the tooth tissues of experimental groups of rats suggests a shift in redox reactions, which can lead to the development of a pathological process.
