Conducting a clinical trial of Bittner-Eshler, cephalometric diagnostics and orthodontic treatment of patients with distal occlusion in the period of changing teeth with functional methods using apparatus: regulators of Frenkel appliance and twin-block appliance allows to conclude positive results in both cases. The diagnostic complex helps to predict the results of treatment and control the type of skeletal growth' По данным Ф.Я. Хорошилкиной (1999), частота аномалий в смешанном прикусе достигает 49%. Из этого количества 20% составляет дистальный прикус. У 69% детей с дистальным прикусом имеются нарушения функций жевания, глотания, смыкания губ (Малыгин Ю.М., 1970).
