The need to study in the proposed work a large layer of historical literature that was created under the conditions of various political regimes from the standpoint of the corresponding conceptual and methodological approaches. There were no special works devoted to the analysis of this issue at that time. But there was a significant number of studies, to one degree or another, related to certain aspects of this problem. Almost every year, articles by writers, publicists, scientists and simply history buffs appear in the media and on the Internet, in which they talk about the gold treasure, about the harem, about children, about the life in exile of the last Mangyt emir. This topic has been relevant since the overthrow of the last Bukhara Emir Said Mir Alimkhan.
