This article reveals the source study significance of historical funds and documents in the field of secondary education in Uzbekistan in 1924-1941, stored in the National Archives of Uzbekistan. The article also analyzes information about the traditional education system and control over its activities by the Soviet government. In addition, a number of historical information about the education system in statistical and official reports was analyzed.
