A special group of archival sources is represented by documents from the personal funds of famous figures of science, culture, and education. By studying the materials of these funds, aspects of the general historical plan are revealed, as well as pages of the history of the life and activities of these people. In this regard, at the present stage, a detailed study of the materials of personal funds is considered relevant, taking into account theoretical provisions and practical approaches. A considerable number of personal funds in Uzbekistan are concentrated in its national and state archives, especially in the National Archive of Uzbekistan (NAUz). Among the personal funds of this archive there are documents of famous historians who have made a significant contribution to the development of historical science.
