The article reveals the peculiarities of the religious beliefs of ancient Bactria in Northern Bactria, based on the traditions of archeology, sculpture, fine arts and funerals, material evidence and archeological data on the example of the Kushan period. Northern Bactria, an important part of which is the Surkhandarya oasis, was selected as the object of study, and a comparative analysis of the material culture of neighboring regions was carried out, the specific features of religious issues were studied based on the analysis of data obtained as a result of many years of scientific research conducted in this region.
