This article mentions the opinions of several famous scholars about the life and work of Umar Nasafi, and specifically about his eight works related to the Holy Qur’an. They are divided into classes according to content and essence. The general meaning of each work is described and the author’s style is analyzed. In particular, some comments are made about the specific characteristics of the commentaries “al-Akmal al-atwal” and al-Taysiyr fit-tafsir.
