The main goal of the article is to teach schoolchildren the rules of athletics in mountain conditions. Nearly all athletics competitions, including district and district school competitions, do not include race walking. For this, first of all, it is necessary to urgently improve the qualifications of school physical education teachers and coaches in this area, selecting talented, inquisitive students from among schoolchildren, and our main goal should be to start training.
