The article describes the formation of a unified judicial system on the territory of the republic after the formation of the Uzbek SSR on the basis of a comparative analysis of regulatory documents and a large amount of archival documents.The article also reveals the problem of staffing the Soviet courts, the lack of the necessary tools for judicial proceedings and the process of illegal interference in legal proceedings. On the example of the study, it is noted that the first objective views on the Soviet judicial system in Uzbekistan were expressed by a number of lawyers during the years of independence.
