Based on the analysis of normative legal documents and psychological and pedagogical literature, the article describes the principles of activating partnership interaction between family and school in the upbringing of primary school children. In particular: the principle of naturalness, openness, wellness orientation, stimulation of physical activity, scientific, collegiality, cooperation, dialogicity, integrity and consistency, continuity and consistency, activity and consciousness. The concept of physical education in the "family - school" system is considered, which is a personality-oriented physical education that allows optimally combining the interests of socially significant activities and a specific personality by activating the mechanism of its socio-cultural involvement in the factors of physical education. Because starting from the birth of a child, motives, interests and habits for regular physical education and sports are consistently formed in the family. Such priorities are formed due to the interaction of general educational institutions with the family, which really increases the pedagogical culture of parents and the basis of their healthy lifestyle.
