Adequate physical development promotes normal mental development. According to Chernyshevsky, “Any work is mental and physical. If we distinguish between mental and physical labor, in one the main role is played by the brain, in the other by the muscles. The brain is made up of muscle interactions, and muscle activity is controlled by the brain”.
