Данная статья рассматривает экологическую оценку концепции “зелёной экономики” в рамкахстратегии устойчивого развития Узбекистана. В ней подчёркивается историческая эволюция “зелёной” экономики,её основные принципы и отличия от традиционной “коричневой” экономики. Оцениваются ключевые вызовыи потенциал, связанные с экологически ориентированной стратегией для национальной экономики. В статьетакже отмечается важность сочетания экологических и экономических стратегий страны для устойчивого ростаи сохранения ресурсов. Такая модель обладает высокой степенью актуальности, поскольку ведёт к моделямразвития, которые являются экологически устойчивыми и социально-экономически прогрессивными.
