The article talks about socio-psychological problems of effective education during the student period, positive psychology and development of positive mood. Specific characteristics of positive thinking in students: everyday life, positive attitude to the future, people’s mood, independence, concept of happiness, self-awareness, effectiveness of training for positive mood in education, spiritual situations and some psychological issues are analyzed.
