This article describes the features of the socio-psychological climate in the family, several types of families with an unhealthy environment, describes the psychological aspects of the influence of the socio-psychological climate in the family on the personality development of adolescents and young children. The article pays special attention to the role of parents’ attitude to their child, their views on the upbringing of children and provides the results of research on this issue.
