Данная статья посвящена проблеме развития речи детей-билингвов. В настоящее время резко возрос интерес к данной теме, поскольку миграционные процессы, происходящие в нашей стране, значительно увеличили приток детей, для которых русский язык является иностранным. А также русские семьи переезжают в зарубежные страны. Это приводит к тому, что в общеобразовательных учреждениях в одном коллективе одновременно обучаются дети, говорящие на разных языках. Современные условия жизни общества сопряжены со значительной миграцией населения или проживанием некоренного населения в русскоязычной среде.
