Ushbu maqolada xorijiy mamlakatlarda sodir bo'lgan kuchli zilzilalar tahlili va mamlakatimizda seysmik xavfsizlikni ta'minlashdagi muammolar o'rganiladi. Kuchli zilzilalarning uzoq muddatli prognozlarini o'rganib chiqib, maqola ushbu muammolarni hal qilish uchun echimlar va tavsiyalar berishga qaratilgan. Kuchli zilzilalarning oqibatlari, jumladan, shtatlarga ta'siri har tomonlama o'rganiladi. Bundan tashqari, maqolada aholi va hududlarni kuchli zilzilaning birlamchi va ikkilamchi og'ir oqibatlaridan himoya qilishning samarali strategiyalari taklif etiladi va tavsiya etiladi.
