In this scientific article, the author examines the issue of economic damage caused by artificial intelligence in the commission of cybercrimes in the process of financial and banking activities, which are gaining an increasingly significant place in the economic sphere of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including a detailed examination of existing opinions, ideas, concepts and scientific discussions in legal science on the issue of its liability. Based on these scientific opinions, views and discussions, the author comes to the conclusion that at present, the national legislation does not provide for measures of direct legal (civil or criminal) liability for economic damage caused by the commission of cybercrimes using artificial intelligence, at the same time, in science and practice, special laws of developed foreign countries, legal provisions have been formed regarding the economic liability of artificial intelligence, therefore, when determining liability for economic damage caused by an act or use of artificial intelligence, it is necessary to take into account a number of conditions that have already developed in world practice. For this purpose, the author puts forward scientifically based proposals and recommendations for making appropriate additions and changes to the national civil, criminal and other legislative acts.
