These activities lead to financial losses, data security threats, disruption of critical systems, and erosion of public trust in cryptocurrencies. The article explores the reasons for the proliferation of illegal mining, including high cryptocurrency profitability, anonymity, low user awareness, and technological accessibility. It also presents examples of high-profile illegal mining cases, such as attacks through malicious software and corporate server breaches. Effective resolution of the problem requires collaborative efforts from governments, businesses, and society to establish strict regulatory norms, enhance system protection measures, and raise awareness.
