Based on the analysis of the content of international legal acts regulating the operational and investigative activities of the internal affairs bodies, the article examines the issues of human rights, organized crime, including the fight against terrorism, extremism, separatism, illegal trafficking in weapons, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, search, detention, extradition of persons, information security, criminal cases, enforcement of criminal penalties, amendments to international and national regulatory legal acts regulating issues of cooperation in the customs sphere, scientifically sound proposals and recommendations for amendments of the law.
