In this article, based on the scientific, theoretical and practical positions of the author, an analysis is made of the legal foundations of state policy to ensure and protect the rights of children, personal non-property rights of the child, their occurrence, the need and the scientific and theoretical basis for protecting the rights of children in society, as well as proposals are made regarding development of legislation in this sphere.
