The article analyzes the concept of environmental rights, their scope, and place in the general system of human rights. The regularities of classification of the principles of international environmental law are characterized. The legislative provision of environmental human rights, guarantees and the mechanism for their implementation in national and international law are disclosed. Particular attention is paid to the latest changes in the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Certain aspects of the mechanism for the implementation of international norms into the national legal system are revealed, as well as ways for further development of legislation in the field of ensuring environmental safety and environmental protection are proposed.
