This article is devoted to a deep theoretical analysis of the concept of the internal form of a word, revealing its meaning in the context of various aspects of language and considering its influence on different areas of linguistics. The work highlights the most important theoretical principles, examples from different languages, and also examines the practical significance of the internal form for lexicography, translation and other disciplines.
