This article reveals the essence and content of the principle of "legitimate expectations" in the system of administrative procedures. The principle was studied by analysing the classical doctrines of the English and German legal systems in the system of administrative procedures. Special importance was given to the judicial practise of these legal systems. Particular attention was paid to the problems of application of this principle by the judicial and administrative authorities of Uzbekistan from the perspectives of administrative procedures.
